Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel was a recent release, but it was a great movie, despite what many people say. I think the reason why people don't like Captain Marvel because she was made she was made in response to Social Justice Warriors and the recent spike of interest in feminism, which I totally understand. The best part about Captain Marvel, however, is Goose the cat/Flerken. End of story.

Avengers: Endgame

When Avengers: Infinity War ended, we knew that a sequel was… inevitable. Ha, I dropped a Thanos reference on you. I hope that this puts a smile on your face. Ha! Did it again! But it all seriousness, it was so highly anticipated. If there was anything that everyone universally wanted, it was NO ENDGAME SPOILERS. It didn’t matter; teachers, students, anyone. Seriously, I heard that some teachers that didn’t give detention and instead gave Endgame spoilers as a punishment. That is pretty cruel. Reality is often disappointing. (; (Also, by the way, if you didn't understand the winky face, that meant that I dropped another Thanos reference.)

Avengers: Infinity War

Fun fact: this movie is a prequel and a sequel. Of course, we already know that Infinity War is a prequel to Endgame. But this movie is actually a sequel to… Thor: Ragnarok! In case you don’t know, At the end of Ragnarok, Thor and Loki were discussing whether Loki should go back to Earth when Thanos’s ship loomed right in front of them. But that aside, I still remember the day I was with my friends back in America, sitting in a comfy chair in Cinepolis, munching on gummy bears, while watching Infinity War. It was awesome.

Spider-Man: Homecoming

Remember this movie? If you don’t, that’s ok. This was another movie I saw in theaters with my friends in Edwards Cinema (I think). This was actually the first movie where I saw Tom Holland play as Spider-Man. Homecoming was a great movie that focused on how Peter balanced his school life and his hero life. And to be quite honest with you, I think Tom Holland is genuinely the best Spider-Man actor by far.

Thor: Ragnarok

This is one I didn’t see until it came out on Netflix, but I assure you, I don’t feel bad not watching it in cinemas. There were a few Thor movies before this, but this movie is widely considered to be the best Thor movie and one of the best Marvel movies. This makes a lot of sense because the fact that we get to see Hulk again is pretty cool. Also, I think that Thor’s hairstyle is a lot better in Ragnarok. He just looks better with short hair rather than long hair. And I think a lot of people agree.

Da Conclusion

So the “too long, didn’t read” description is: I went over Endgame, Infinity War, and Homecoming just as a start. Marvel movies are great, and the cool thing is that they are connected in some way. With Spider-Man: Far From Home and a Black Widow prequel, the hype continues and I’ll be ready to watch the movies when they come out. :D
